Trestle View Campsite, Coromandel, New Zealand

I’m spending the weekend camping and canyoning in the Coromandel, a spectacularly beautiful piece of NZ, and only a couple of hours from home in Auckland.

Tonight the four of us are camping in the Kauaeranga Valley, so here’s a map of the population of the campsite.

I’m now sat at the pub after an exceptional day of abseiling, scrambling, and swimming my way down a canyon named Hydrophobia, and I have my iPad with me.
